For 2022 Trillium is planning to hold our first international Advanced Driving School at the Pittsburg International Race Complex (PIRC) in Wampum, Pennsilvania (roughly 70 km northwest of Pittsburg) on June 6 - 8, 2022 (note this is Monday to Wednesday event). We will hold this event in conjunction with fellow BMW CCA chapters Genesee Valley and Alleghany. PIRC is a 4.47 km long track, rougly half a kilometer longer than Mosport, that includes a total of 19 turns. Originally constructed in 2002, the track was extended by almost 2 km in 2015 and repaved in 2017.
Stats Canada reports that motor vehicle accidents are the leading cause of death among drivers in their first 10 years of driving. They account for over 70 percent of accidental deaths in that age group. In an effort to reduce this risk and save lives, the Trillium BMW Club with support from PCA UCR is set to deliver one Tire Rack Street Survival School in 2022. This program is designed for relatively new drivers, within their first 10 years of driving, IN ANY CAR. There is no need to be a member of either the BMW Club or UCR to participate.
The Autoslalom registration for 2022 has now begun. All events will be held at the CAA Centre in Brampton starting April. Please read over the posted information on details of PCR-UCR/Trillium AutoSlalom. If you have any questions, contact us at autos@trilliumbmwclub.ca.
Effective January 27, 2021, BMW Canada will continue to offer a Membership Reward Rebate Programme for BMW Car Club of America/Trillium Chapter members based on Canadian eligibility criteria, with graduated rebate values similar to the U.S. programme.
